Features
Everything a live quiz needs. Nothing it doesn't.
RedMo is a quiz builder and a live game in one. You write the questions, the room plays on its own phones, and the results are on your screen as they come in.
Joining
Players are in before you finish the sentence
A six-digit PIN and a name. That is the whole sign-up. No app to install, no account to create, no email to hand over.
- Works in any browser, on any phone, tablet or laptop
- A QR code on the host screen for people who prefer to scan
- Up to 500 players in a single game
- A face off the emoji globe, so the scoreboard is not a wall of names
- A refresh or a dropped connection puts a player straight back in
A player joins with a PIN and a name, then picks an avatar from a globe of emoji.
Building
17 kinds of block, mixed however you like
A game is a sequence of blocks. Put a slide before the question it sets up, a poll after the topic it is about, a slider where there is no single right answer.
- Quiz questions with up to six options, or pick-the-set scoring
- True / false, type the answer, and sliders for estimates and numbers
- Pin a spot on a picture, or put the answers in order
- Polls, scales, word clouds and brainstorms that show what the room thinks, with no score attached
- Slides for the bits you want to explain in between
- Millions of free Pexels photos, searchable without leaving the editor
Running
One stage, one clock, one screen in control
You move the game forward at your own pace. Every phone follows the host screen, and the clock the players see is the clock you see.
- Answers land on your screen the moment they are sent
- Faster correct answers score more, so nobody waits out the clock
- A picture can be uncovered tile by tile while the timer runs
- Scoreboard between rounds, podium at the end
Sharing
An open library, in seven languages
Make a quiz public and anyone can host it. Browse what others have published, filter by category and language, and run it with one click.
- Public quizzes are open to every host, no request needed
- Preview the questions before you host, never the answers
- The interface speaks English, Slovak, Czech, German, Spanish, French and Polish
And the rest
The details that make a game run well
A timer per block
Ten seconds for a quick check, a minute for a hard one. Every block keeps its own.
Pictures on questions
Upload your own or pull one from the built-in Pexels library, then optionally reveal it in a 3, 4 or 9 grid as the clock runs.
Survives a refresh
Host or player, closing the tab and coming back restores exactly the screen the room is on.
Game history
Every game you host is kept: players, scores, accuracy per question. Host it again from the same place.
Nothing collected from players
A player is a name and a score for the length of one game. There is no profile to build.
Any screen, any size
The host view is built for a projector, the player view for a phone held in one hand.
